Suzanne –
After finishing part 1 of the online classes I was keen to keep the momentum going and started on part 2 with much more confidence.
Again made from 4 parts that builds on what was learned during part 1 (but would also work as a stand-alone part).
I especially loved class 2 and 4 and getting out on my favourite trails and exploring new trails but building in what I have learned.
I noticed by this point my running style has improved nooks is much more focused and listening to me and our pace is faster with a nice tight line.
Get signed up and join the canicross family and get all the support and encouragement from Lindsay and her team and fellow runners ?
Christine –
Moving forward from Part 1, the sessions in this block advance canicross-specific and more general trail running skills. The sessions build from the previous block, some in very clear ways. Although they could be done on their own, they are better after having worked through the first block.
As with the other blocks, although these sessions are intended for canicross, they are valuable for dogless running, too, which is how I did most of them. They made running on my own much more interesting. I particularly enjoyed sessions 2 and 3 for skills development and session 4 for making me think about how to make a fun challenge for both my dog and me. Speed work is not my favourite thing. The structure of the speed session here made it feel like more of an adventure and less of a chore. The technical session gave me skills to practice in the technical trails that I love. Most importantly, my dog loved her adventure to finish out the block.
