Cani-Fit have been running canicross classes across Scotland since 2010. We’ve introduced hundreds of individuals to the sport, and have trained hundreds more over the years. This year, we’re thrilled to announce that keen canicrossers worldwide will now be able to join in the fun!

When you sign up to one of our Online Classes, you’ll receive a detailed training session plan, aimed towards improving important aspects of your training, such as hillwork, focus or endurance. Where possible, we also try to include bonus content to highlight useful skills and commands.

Every week we’ll be focusing on one class, so we’ll all be doing the same workout together throughout the week!

  • Receive your class plan in the form of a detailed PDF and a printer-friendly document.

I had got into the bad habit of going out for a run not focusing on commands and timing or even how I was running.
Part 1 of the online coaching came at the right time for us to get both me and my dog (nooks) working together as a team.
Making me work on the areas of runs that I don’t like (hills!!) and giving me the confidence and knowledge for getting up them.
The support received is great from both Lindsay and her team and also fellow runners. We all encourage each other and are there supporting and celebrating successes but also helping when things don’t go to plan ?
Even if you are back at classes the plans are a great way to build on what you are learning in class.
If you can’t get to a class (time / location) don’t work for you this is a great way to become part of the Canifit family and gain the support and assistance that makes all the difference to your canicrossing

This block is a great way to get started running canicross with your dog, or to give your own training a bit of structure. My first time, I used the sessions in this block to build myself back from an injury and give my training a bit of structure. I am on my second time now and I am using it to build my new dog’s skills and confidence in canicross. It has been brilliant both times.

All of the sessions can be done with or without your dog. The skills involved are universal and fundamental to running in any medium. The first session (focus) is probably the most dog-oriented, but then again, my focus during lockdown wasn’t great. I was going out and running garbage miles. Working on one session per week felt just right in terms of structure. I found myself enjoying my other runs each week more, too.

The support and feedback from the Cani-fit team has been really helpful. The Q&A sessions were diverse and informative. The online workouts were great when I could join them: complementary to training and informative for the strength and mobility training I do on my own.

Revisiting this block with my new running buddy has been really nice. My dog is a rescue. He is nervous of new situations and particularly around other dogs. The structure of the sessions let me plan routes that both of us really enjoy and work on fundamental skills in a quiet environment. We are getting more out of our group training, too. Working on our own has helped a lot with his confidence running together and in his new world more generally. Training has strengthened our bond and I look forward to working through the other sessions and other blocks as we progress.
